Jarrett Edward's Birthday!

What do you get when you mix 500 McNuggets, 12" heels, and a crowd of scantily-clad enthusiasts? Jarrett Edward's Birthday of course! We all gathered at McDonald's last night to celebrate Jarrett's big night inspired by Michael Alig and the 90's club kids. Everything went swimmingly until the NYPD were called, but even then we stormed down the street in festive cheer and fur coats flowing in the wind. With only one visit to the ER, we think the night was a success.

It was also a celebration for our dear friend Sarah Villegas' birthday!

Everything.... And More!

We had a great night last night at at Bedlam hosted by the lovely Zana Bayne and new to New York Domonique Echeverria. In the midst of moose heads, hair coats, and upside down crosses, we danced the night away. Not to mention it was great running into friends we haven't seen in ages.

Oh... and Jarrett found the Batmobile on our way home....

Street Style: Albii

Albii first caught our attention when we spotted his Jeremy Scott x Longchamp bag, but it wasn't until we started talking to him that we noticed his Jeremy Scott x Swatch lightning bolt watch, both of which were gifts he received at Scott's A/W 11 show a couple weeks ago. He described the bag as perfect example of American culture to a group of Italian tourists standing nearby and we couldn't agree more.

Thierry Mugler Womenswear A/W 2011

Thierry Mugler made it's return to womenswear today and blew the audience away. Keeping with the trends but also introducing fresh ideas, Formichetti's line included beautiful sheer cutouts, structured shoulders, and skyscraper heels. Nicola Formichetti first wowed us with his menswear line earlier this season and has certainly made a name for himself and the Mugler brand. 

Formichetti is the new creative director of the brand and was previously famous for being Lady Gaga's stylist and the bond between them still remains. Gaga has been the music director of both his menswear and womenswear lines this season debuting her own music in both. This bond is reminiscent of the bond that Gaga shared with the late Alexander McQueen. Is she turning Mugler into the new McQueen?
